All that offense this year with the recruiting mecca that is the Pittsburgh Pirates pipeline? Not exactly a team full of 4-5* talent up there. Yet still a very capable offense...

Ugh. I never want LSU to hire a coach that we have to give the "talent curve" to justify hiring them.

Wisconsin isn't exactly a recruiting mecca either, but that didn't stop Aranda from putting together top 10 defenses. If you're good enough as a coordinator, you'll get it done.

Canada's offenses have proven that he's an exceptionally average offensive coordinator - and that his passing offenses typically rank in the bottom third of the FBS.

When Miles was fired, everyone wanted an offensive minded head coach to come in and change things up. When we ended up with Orgeron, everyone then rationalized the hire by stating that if we could hire a top flight OC to open up the offense, then we would be alright.

Now, apparently everyone wants to hire a guy that can't field a pass attack that finishes a season ranked higher than 70th.
