For those saying oil rubbed bronze fixtures will be out, what are you seeing as a replacement?
My interior knobs/fixtures are all this style. I couldn't see using the gold or silver/nickel finishes.
Just curious if I'm missing some option.

There isn't a replacement for oil rubbed bronze right now. It's what is trendy but I still think something basic like silver (not that brushed crap) can be timeless when used correctly.

The mass produced building material replacement for oil rubbed bronze right now is brushed nickel or stainless, or even chrome.
Believe it or not brass is actually marking a comeback in the higher end markets, although it's not your parents brass.
