DJI Mavic Pro Thread cause flyAU gets the sads...

My BIL pre-ordered one of these SOBs on the day they were announced....still has yet to receive it.

After my order hadn't been processed since last Friday, I emailed today and they are claiming is was a "pre-order". It didn't say that at time I placed order and my order confirmation said it would ship in 1-3 days.

No much I can do, but wait it out a bit. I'll cancel if I find elsewhere.

Edit: the flymore combo did say delayed shipping at time of this thead. The $999 version didn't mention any delayed shipping. May have been a mistake to not have the delayed shipping on$999 version.

Want a mavic pro bad. Last January I bought the phantom 3 standard at best buy for 599 and 2 weeks later it dropped to 499. Wondering when we'll see a price drop on these..I know they just came out but frick if I'm dropping a grand to see them go for cheaper a few months later.

Some obvious color shading also occurs with the Mavic Pro ’ s compact lens in certain conditions . The Mavic Pro ’ s camera has been optimized for shooting in daylight. A solution to color shading in snowfields and LED lights , etc. is still under testing and color shading has not be en totally removed just yet. Good to know there may be a solution/workaround coming. I'm going to wait until it shows up. I have a feeling that there will be some interesting changes when the Karma relaunches, especially if GoPro has figured out how to utilize GPS (Followme, etc). If they pull that off at $799 with an upgradeable camera platform then I'm hoping DJI will respond in kind.
