4-5 star LB would start day 1?

Why the hell can't we land any elite linebackers when they can step onto the field as freshmen???? I used to think it was just Chavis being a lazy arse????

Not to mention we have arguably the best LB/DC coach in the nation and as a group LSU currently has the highest performing LBs in the NFL.

It has been uncomfortably quiet but I hope with this staff they have it locked down. One thing we know is if they do- sonic boom. If they dont, were fricked.

Uhhh because we already have young elite linebackers.. Devin White?? Michael Divinity?? Dylan Moses(assuming)??
Those three in Aranda's defense will most certainly be the best LB group in the country. Two sophomores and a freshman will be our LB group next year, why are you shocked we can't land LBers? And WTF are you worried about???
ETA: Arden Key with his drop-back ability. Dwayne Thomas(whom is a rising superstar). Donnie Alexander

LSU's recruiting problems with LBs goes back a long time. Even Saban had issues getting elite LBs here every class

And the fact that we now run a 3-4 puts more of a premium on LB recruiting. We have a lot of spots to fill at the LB position. That means big opportunities for incoming freshmen.
