LSU just won a national championship in 2003, had the number 1 recruiting class in 2003 and the number 2 recruiting class in 2004. I think it was pretty obvious LSU was easily a top 5 program at the time Miles was hired.

Holy shite. We had all of 2 top 15 finishes in the last 7 years and 1 top 5 finish in over 2 decades and that makes us a top 5 program? My fricking God.

2000-4 losses
2001-3 losses
2002- 5 losses
2003- 1 loss
2004-3 losses

In no way is that a top 5 program.

Its like some you dont remember Sabans tenure.

He doesn't understand process or what building a program consists of. He's young he doesn't understand what the transition was like or how hard it was. And he will never give any coach not named Miles credit for anything.

Ricky will never understand this logic.... he has Miles stuck in his head and even the last 4 years he thinks LSU is an elite program... yet now that O made this team look great, he thinks LSU is not elite anymore.... he is very sad....
