I had friends on the team that asked me to go out and punt, because I played soccer. At that time the punter was Chad Kessler. He had come in as a big time recruit, but was underperforming big time.

So, I went out to practice...that was all I needed to see. It was a mess. It was so obvious why we were losing.

The next year, Curly was done. Kessler went on to become a fantastic punter being the first punter to average over 50 yards a punt for a season (50.3) with better coaching...a little better as it were.

That is my easy explanation of 1990-1995. Oh, and Florida 58 LSU 3...sat through the whole thing. Worst loss in Tiger Stadium history...which made 2003 so sweet.

Bro, we lost to UF in 03 in Tiger Stadium.
