hayes and his friend stayed. I think this guy was hopped up on drugs.

All of that is completely irrelevant.

it is "LOOK OVER HERE AT THIS" Defense tricks.

There's literally only one thing that matters, and that is whether the self-defense was justified, and there is very specific language in the statutes for that.
