You need to join the other guy and try to find sanity.
Taiwan considers itself a sovereign nation. That alone, whether or not it is a reality would preclude the US from making it a state.

Anyone who thinks this is remotely plausible is a complete moron. Not only does Taiwan consider itself a sovereign nation, and the legitimate government of China, but the Chinese claim Taiwan as their territory. It would be an act of war on our part
