Nostalgic magical movies - "The Emerald Forest"

And I will include "The Mosquito Coast" as well.

The Emerald Forest is the first titty movie my parents allowed me to watch when I was a kid. But besides all the wonderful native titties, it was such an awesome, magical, surreal movie. It made the world seem so big, wondrous, and exotic. In my childhood mind, The Emerald Forest was as far away as Mars - possible to reach but certainly far beyond most people's limits.

The idea that places exist in this world which still remain to be discovered was intoxicating. I wanted to be an explorer.

Or, rather, I wanted to be that kid. I wanted to explore that rainforest, meet a native tribe, participate in the fire ant ritual to become a man, and then bed and marry a cute native girl.

It was the first film that I completely obsessed over. It was National Geographic brought to life. Parent approved titties. A lesson about the birds and the bees.

To this day no movie immediately transports me back to my childhood like The Emerald Forest. Just the name of the movie alone makes me long for the nostalgia of my childhood.

And frogs.
