yes, the donation is a bummer but 1400 to 1500 pear year for those seats is not absolutely insane to me (just a little insane). I think stadium club west donation is like 2700/seat/year... one day :\

We are in the South End Zone and it is the best.

yes, "value" of tix next year won't be as good because of the schedule and only 7 home games... with economy in south LA (minus Lake Charles) and coaching change may be a good year to get tix. (ain't saying I want anyone to have to give up their tix for financial reasons though). But no idea what will be available.

It's your Philanthropic point rank that matters for season tickets. Call your TAF rep and ask them what your chances are and they should be able to give you a ballpark.

The best seats are section 103 you get what you pay for

Assuming donation is payed every season in addition to $450 ticket price ?

I have seats in the south end zone and the north. The north is way way better

Yep
I did corner of South end zone year before last but moved to North this year.
The corner view in SE wwas solid, but had to go NE for the feels (student section). Plus I only make one game a year

fwiw, be sure to contribute $100 per year, as that gets you the most taf points per dollar...
I am not sure you will get tickets with a taf ranking of that high...and if you do, you aren't really going to have a choice as to where they are located.
I personally like the west upper the best out of those that I am willing to pay for. best seats in the house, IMO are west side tiger terrace at mid-field....should be around section 515 or so. I think tiger terrace seats carry about a thousand buck surcharge each, though.
last on my list would be anywhere on the east side, as the sun is in your eyes for most day games.

SouthEndZoneTiger--Last year, I think all who got on wait list had a chance to get tickets. Really a lot of season tickets sold on ticket exchange at cost.

Love the south endzone

I had a TAF rep visit me a couple of years ago and I ask what kind of donation it would take to get 4 tickets between the 10 yard lines in the lower bowl and all I could say was no thanks. It really shocked the crap out of me. I've been trying to get stadium club seats for a few years and when it's my turn to pick they are already gone.

LSU Football Seating
1. Avoid 401-404 (vistors sections make up half these sections)
2. Avoid sideline seats below row 12
3. Upper Deck (west) are ok if your on a budget
4. East side line ( Sun Issues)
5. South and North behind the end zone are very Good seats to start out with. (if you don't mind seating in the upper rows - 30ish)
*If you want a pair, you might be able to get one in the lower bowl, 4 on the other hand probably would be a challenge.
Wish you the best

So, you're going to be requesting season tickets for next season. Unless things have drastically changed, if you get a chance to buy them, you'll be offered whatever is available IF you get lucky. In other words, don't get your hopes up on requesting tickets in a particular section. Even with a shitty home schedule next year, I wouldn't expect many season ticket holders giving up their tickets because of the schedule. Your bet bet, get on the ticket exchange board and buy someone's tickets from them. There are always people wanting to sell their tickets but not give them up. Good luck and let us know how it works out.

This is what I think as well. However, IF you do get lucky I would suggest going ahead and getting whatever you can. Even if they are what you would consider "not so great" seats. Because after each season, season ticket holders are given an option to "upgrade" their seats. I think that you have a MUCH better chance of ending up where you want to be inside of 5 years by "upgrading" than you do by getting in as a new season ticket holder. In other words, season ticket holders are given the opportunity to upgrade BEFORE new season ticket holders are allowed to choose their new seats. They get the leftovers.

Be sure to buy an extra seat! Gotta leave yourself some room for the fat frick next to you to spill into yours. Or does that only happen to me?
