Things to consider. North end zone and west side are brutal for day games in September and early October. West side is the best side in that regard with the south end zone next best.

All things considered is that south end zone is best. You can't hear the visitors band at all and you are directly across from the LSU band.

ok thanks. anyone sat in Tiger Terrace ? As of now seems like sections 102-104, south EZ, or Tiger Terrace are best options (if they are even available). reason I'm asking now is deciding to buy tix from people I know in 102-104 or buy my own to help with lifetime TAF points

FYI south end zone (not the new section) TAF fee is $260 per.

102-104 would be my first choice, then tiger terrace. Terrace is high up but really nice inside and seats are roomy and comfy.

edit: Is the tiger terrace the south EZ club? That's what I was commenting on.

... didnt realize Tiger Terrace was only 2 rows... Probably no chance for those with my TAF rank.

We love the north end zone! We have been sitting with the same fans for the last 20 years!

i think south club is different than Tiger Terrace. The TT seats I was looking at were on west sideline above sections 102-104

west side of south end zone - Sections 421-424 are best value in stadium, relative to view, Tradition Fund, and shade. I know for fact that 422-424 were in shade for entire Florida game (noon kickoff).

Have you looked at next years schedule?

I was planning on buying season tickets for next season, but the schedule is terrible. On the other hand, it'll probably be a good opportunity to get seats I would never have a chance at otherwise

IMO:

Southwest corner lower bowl, South EZ Upper,
Northeast corner, East Upper at the bottom, in between the 40's.

I've had my season tickets since the mid 90s, so I may be way out of the loop these days on this, but my cousin told me years ago that there was like a 5 year waiting list to get season tickets. Is that no longer the case?

south end zone is best

Lol no.

Sitting in the end zone gives you a difficult view of the opposite end of the field. Personally, I like to sit in the corner seats. While it puts you closer to one end zone, it gives you a nice view of the whole field.

You get what you pay for. The more expensive the seat the better it will be. Just make sure you are in the lower bowl.

TAF told me that phil rank was used to allocate season tickets (higher rank gives you first pick of seats that become available before new season) and lifetime points are used for bowl game and... future LSU national chip games :) I'd consider continuing to buy from others but with 2 small kids who will want to attend games in the future and anticipating going to make most home games I'm leaning towards buying my own. I believe season tix donations go towards lifetime points vs. buying from others which doesn't get you any TAF love.

Have you ever been in TS? What section do you think the corners on the south end or the north end is. The south end zone wraps all the way around past the goal lies, or close to it.

I wish you luck, but I doubt there will be a whole lot available that's worthwhile. HOWEVER, people could be dumping their tix because of the coaching change...you could luck out.

Seats on the East/West side are $900 per ticket, per year, before you even pay for the face value of the seats themselves...FYI.
