Yeah it is a Demo but still sounds great IMO. And adrenaline is a top 3 Deftones album.

I'm not so sure about that...
Around the Fur, White Pony, Diamond Eyes, and Koi No Yokan are pretty hard to top.

We all love what they evolved into and eventually became, but Adrenaline is a raw, kick arse album they recorded while they were really young and still green. I was lucky enough to see them a few times while they were only playing these songs. Their early shows were nuts and the energy was just crazy. I remember Chino once was hanging by his feet upside down from the rafters hitting the high notes on the chorus of Birthmark. Some of the best times of my life were at these early gigs in small clubs. You Tube early Deftones...

Adrenaline is light years better than all other Deftones albums. In fact, it's nearly as good as anything Tool ever released and that takes a LOT for me to admit.

I never listened to Adrenaline. I started with White Pony, and worked backwards to Around the Fur. I'll check out Adrenaline right this moment.

Engine No. 9 is my shite. Adrenaline album as a whole is fantastic. Still a regular in my rotation along with pretty much everything they've done.

Adrenaline is the hardest most raw album an consequently their best...by a LONG mile.
