re: When will the board stop dogging on Harris

I join a whole lot of other people who really wanted Harris to succeed, despite varying levels of skepticism.
willing to acknowledge youth and possible injury his Freshman year.
Willing to accept rumors of possible injury last year.
This year he looked "injured" again. And lost.
After he went to the bench, he lost his helmet as well any apparent interest.
I wish him well.

People forget so fast that Harris started off 8-0 last year
And since then he is 1-4 as the starter.

I know what your saying but players feed off of the fans and the fans gave Harris no shot. Harris got booed for every pass he threw good or bad. He couldn't get any confidence this year.

Yes, that interception directly to the Wisconsin defensive back was a great way to cap a fine day of play from Harris.

I didn't forget his starts this year
Is this you Ms Harris? Cause this is pure bullsh!t.

So the fans are to blame for Harris' inability to be an efficient passer? Brandon Harris hasn't shown any improvement from his freshman year. Maybe George Whitfield is more responsible than anyone for his stagnant growth.

my main point isn't to praise Harris, i just don't understand how people can say Danny has been this massive upgrade.

Probably when people stop asking when he'll be QB again.

What fricking world do you live in?

I don't either. But put a gun to my head to pick a QB for the bowl game and its Danny.

Very few people I have seen have said danny etling is a massive upgrade. Most acknowledge, however, that Etling did give LSU the best chance to win going forward during the season

Definitely the furthest thing from the best option

Harris can take solace in the fact that Brady started for Michigan in a lot of games and Chad Henne got to start ahead of him even after Brady won some big games. Henne was drafted higher. Brady is the star of the league with the Brazilian model wife. You never know.
Keep doing the work. Learn. be clean. Do your homework.
it will all come out in the wash.
I wish him all the best.
the Texas A&M announcers I heard on Sirius XM radio seemed to think Etling played QB like an NFL pro, so its not like Harris is going to just be the QB by default.

Now that the season is done I think it would be great to give him some series to run in the bowl game. He is still a Tiger.

People who have never played the game don't realize how coaching/ play calling failed Harris. Had he played for a offensive coach with a little creativity to his game plan he may have shined. Prior coaches that are no longer with the team truly ruined him!
Posted on 11/29/16 at 1:37 pm to hasanmarjanovic
Did they boo him from the beginning or did his play cause the booing?
Posted on 11/29/16 at 1:37 pm to hasanmarjanovic
The notion that the fans booed every pass, good or bad is pure myth.
And only a completely biased devotee of Harris could possibly maintain that was the case.
Truth is, Harris had terrific WRs and a great running back to support him, but failed. He also had a gifted arm and some running ability.
But he could not get it together.
Has LSU had a better option on the bench, he should have probably been replaced at an earlier point.
