I guess that's where I'd fundamentally disagree that the LSU OC job is a step down from wku HC. More money, more attention, more chance to win big. But many would agree with you. I am biased after all.

The guy has spent the majority of his life in Kentucky. His family is there and he's a Kentucky guy waiting on the Louisville job. He's one of the few who I believe don't care much about money so I'd bet he'll stay there for a few years unless a major program comes after him.
That being said, he's a coach and no one has a clue what they'll do

Should have been a HC candidate, not an OC.

If Oregon is smart Brohm is their next head coach. He would fit in perfect with the offense Oregon likes to run. He' s a good coach and is worthy of a top P5 job.

if he was the HC at an FCS school like Bob Stitt, he would be a realistic option. Brohm isn't going back to being an assistant just for a few hundred thousand dollars. Experience as a head coach is way more important when you're looking to jump into a P5 job like he is

Plus he is a better HC than Coach O.
