Any takers? I believe he's around 800k at wku. He'd bring his bro Brian Brohm as qb coach.

He is going to be in the running for several bigger jobs in a few weeks. Don't see him going back to an assistant role anytime soon.

Would love. Doubt it's realistic though

Doesn't make sense. No one leaves a HC job for a coordinator position.

You're probably right but he's maxed out his success at wku.

LSU may double his salary and set him up to take over for Petrino when BP inevitably screws the pooch or a vball player.

I think it's worth a call. Jmo

He's a Head Coach. No way he'd go back being a coordinator

He will be at Houston in a week or so if I had to put money on it.

read this 4 times thinking you meant he would be "coach in waiting" and that you had no clue who our HC was. ha

Dan Enos did it In 2015. Cmu To Arkansas if I'm not mistaken. He was not fired. Perhaps he would've been.

Wasn't Mario Cristobal (Bama o line) head Coach at FIU or something or did I make that up.

I'll rephrase then; highly successful HCs don't leave to become coordinators.

It's not common for sure

Would you consider LSU OC at 1.3 a better or worse job than wku HC at .8?

In a vacuum I would agree that being the LSU oc is a better job. But he is about to get a head coaching job at a big school in a month or so.

Exactly he will have offers from bigger schools than WKU this year

If he could get a job at a lower tier power conference team then I think he would prefer that to being a coordinator.

I mean I've obviously never been a HC in CFB but I'd have to think it beats a coordinator job for the same money.
