like what, exactly?
i'm not saying he's not a good teacher of DL technique
i'm saying we have a limited number of coaching slots and can't afford to use one on Jenkins, esp when we have a DL coach in our HC

I know plenty about him. I also know hes old as frick and was retired, came out of retirement as a personal favor to O.

Jenkins is one of the foremost experts at defensive line position. Heck, Mike Smith (as well as other DCs) taught a lot of his SAM LBs to use the same hand techniques to shed blocks that Pete Jenkins originally developed for Defensive Ends. He's done consulting gigs throughout the country at the pro and collegiate level. I don't think he should be the mainstay defensive line coach, but the guy is fantastic at what he knows and to say he cannot be productive is complete idiocy.
