I'd imagine the extra on field coach will have to be DL related to help Jenkins. But he won't help for this class

Yeah but Jenkins does seem to be one of the few guys O will go to and say "what do I do here" and will listen to pretty much whatever he says. Need at least 1 of those on staff and probably 2 or 3.

He can be that with any job title. Only 9 guys or whatever can recruit and coach at practice etc.

bro, if we have Aranda and Kiffin next year, they will be making those calls
O will be riding in the backseat. his whole philosophy is to have superior coaches run the team on gameday. our 2 coordinators will be better coaches and more qualified HC candidates than our actual head coach. they're also both guys who were former bosses of O

If you're expecting things to make sense or follow any kind of logical pattern generally I think your expectations are too high. Ed Orgeron is the LSU coach. Let that sink in again.

Even before all this happened, it's understood that Jenkins won't recruit. Austin Thomas takes his place recruiting. There's someone else, his name escapes me.

well that goes in line with my comment earlier
it's one thing with Saban/Bama skirting rules and utilizing loopholes
we're trusting O and Kiffin with that responsibility? have we forgotten all the shite that we used to say about them? LSU gets hammered with sanctions when an early enrollee trolls us by committing to Bama, and that was with Les (who was pretty good about the rules and avoiding super dirty recruiting). now we have Kiffin and O running the show?
