Wife and I saw both (double feature with no kiddos!) Friday. I would say if you're only going to see one go see Dr. Strange, even though we enjoyed both.

Enjoyed both and big Marvel/Potter fan. Had lower expectations for it but preferred Fantastic Beasts. Won't go wrong with either. Did not see either in 3D so that might change the viewing experience as well.

Haven't seen Dr. Strange but found Fantastic Beasts to be the most uninteresting cash-in movie I've seen in a long time.
