This is painfully ironic after all of the sneering by LSU fans at the cesspool in Texas. Well here we are.

LSU's leadership has been exposed as inept, parochial, selfish, and short-sighted. Inept in both last year's and this year's process. Parochial in their preference for a Louisiana guy who never prioritized loyalty to LSU in return. Selfish in the desire to have access more than success. And short-sighted in their failure to understand how important it is to have professionals, not donors, in charge of the crucial hiring decisions.

I have no doubt there are problems in Texas, but they were able to stifle dissent so efficiently that they could fire their coach and hire their first choice on the same day.
