Every OC that Saban has had at Bama has been successful. (Maybe not Applewhite) All those stories about Kiffin that LSU fans have been laughing about. They are true. Exaggerated a little. But true.

Sure Bama can match. Just meant it was a natural time to leave if wanted to go. No buyouts or feeling of commitment etc.

I thought Kiffin and his wife recently divorced?

So Bama wouldn't match IYO?
They may but I think he'd rather just come here and have more autonomy to run the offense working with a guy he likes. For as childish as kiffin is about some things, the guy can coach and develop offense. I'm sure he sees the potential to and benefits of elevating a stagnant lsu offense for his future career.

Bama has planned on him leaving after this year for a HC job. That's why they brought in Sark. Fans hate the Kiffen offense. They run the QB, throw screens or deep balls. Don't use the TE much.
