But you don't have to hire that type of coach. Those coaches weren't "top tier" coaches at one point. There's plenty of guys that are current successful head coaches that could have EASILY been considered.
Coach O was a bad bad bad bad decision, and it was a lazy decision. Joe Alleva is lazy, and the guys doing the search were lazy and stupid.
