When made it 5 yards deep when we kicked from the 50. The only time it would have made sense to kick it short.

But the sunshine pumpers will tell you he can kick it a mile and is being told to kick it short.

1. Why does that make someone a sunshine pumper?

2. It is true.

That's all BDP... who goes left when he should go right and goes right when he should go left.

Has anyone asked a coach on a radio show or interview WTF is the deal with the kickoffs?

If they are telling him to kick it short, have they taken a look at the return numbers to see if that is working?

Every team we play kicks it in the endzone most times. Is LSU smarter than all of them? Or does our kicker have a weak leg?

I really want to know.

So now the truth makes us sunshine pampers?

BDP is a terrible ST coach, but I guess that's sunshine.

If you honestly believe Cameron can't kick it deep....you are delusional. The scheme is to pin them behind the 20. Kick the ball to the left side of the hash, between the goal line and the 5. If executed properly....it works. Problem is our coverage has not been too good. If you've played or understand football you wouldn't be regurgitating this every week. Not YOU in particular, but I see this every week from people. This falls squarely on BDP and their scheme. Right or wrong.

Twenty, to answer some of your questions. Yes, he is told to do that. Cameron has a very strong leg. I've personally had discussions with a few players that back that statement. Is it smart? If it works by design.....yes. If not, we get what we're seeing.

Is part of that "kick it short" scheme to kick line drives?

I certainly understand what you're saying. You have to execute. I'm not defending any of this.....just stating what I've been told.

I hope Gamble graduates early because he shouldn't be on scholarship next season.

Oh my gosh, Gamble is the worst in the nation on kickoffs. Hard to believe we have no one any better on campus. I don't get it, consistently not in the end zone and then the opposition usually has great field position.
