There's a pretty big gap between those two and the other coaches mentioned by the OP.
There are also several coaches who fall in that gap. "What he's supposed to do" if the top two turn him down is make all the ones in the gap say no before he runs to Fedora or Gundy.

Exactly. Some of you are really clueless how he world works. Not everyone outside of LA is a fan of lsu. Doesn't mean he didn't have a plan. He obviously does or there wouldn't be so many rumors. If it was so easy to sign a Fisher or Herman every college would try.

It's been. Jimbo or bust dating back to last year and/ or Herman or bust for the last 6-9 months.
All I'm saying is he better feel pretty confident that he will land either.
Otherwise falling back on "I'm a man" or someone that doesn't even have a conference power 5 title (Fedora) isn't exactly what you call a playboy an elite program
