I know a real good one in GA.....and another in mobile. Any good LBD breeder will have a waiting list.

I have a 3 year old male - if you know mean look at FB.

I have owned and trained labs, chessies and GSPs. winning field trials with all 3. All great breeds but none have captivated our home like and LBD...
and yes a 35lb(which is big for them) around the house, camp, truck, ATV and of course pirogue is a dream.

we are breeding ours soon. but I am pretty sure the owner of the bitch has 5 pups spoken for and i have 2 spoken for.

Would you mind sharing? I'm in Ga and have been toying with the idea of a Boykin.

What are the pro's/con's as you see them with the Boykin vs labs? I love blm's but a Boykin is about the only other retriever I think I'd consider. Just never been around them so I don't know what I don't know. My current blm is basically a house pet, but he's getting older and I want another duck dog in the next 3-4 yrs as my boys get old enough to start chasing ducks with me.
