Lots to explore
Lots of ways to kill
Environment tells a story.
Interesting quests
Fo4 allows base building
You could play 100 hours and not see half of the map
Fo3 begins slow. A lot of people don't get out of the vault.
Fo4 is incredible
Haven't played new Vegas but I know it's good

So far I'd put FO4 behind NV and FO3. I haven't gotten very far yet though.

Well fo3 and NV were incredible so no shame there.
Fo4 gets awesome when you get the best power armor and fight down in the South of the map.
Also better guns help

This is the reason I love Bethesda games. You get the story through envoriment, like you are in the world. Similar to how Valve tells stories through gameplay.
I don't want hrs of stupid cutscenes like Uncharted and Deus Ex.

Deus ex stories are told in emails.
But yes there are cutscenes. No one does it better than bethesda

Watch Dogs 2 is a lot of fun. Will look into FFXV and The Last Guardian based on reviews.

Fallout 4's story is utter garbage whereas Uncharted 4's is as good as it gets in gaming, but yeah, exploration
I wish cinematic third-person shooters would make a comeback. We have enough bloated open world games. For example, Mafia III would have been much better had it just been the story missions.

The story is terrible but it's not about the main characters story.. it is about the world's story, humanities story.
Expand a little bit brother. You don't need to let other ppl feed you with that spoon, feed yourself.
Edt: biggest turn off are the cutacenes in Uncharted games. If I want a 80s action film, I'll watch one. The story that is told isn't that mind blowing. Nathan isn't really a character I can get attached to, not enough heartbreak and demons. The characters I get attach to are ppl like Joel, Booker and Geralt of Rivia. Nathan is just too white bread, even though he isn't but comes off that way to me.

I enjoy environmental storytelling when the main narrative is minimalistic
Bloodborne is terrific in that regard
Fallout 4's world may have good lore, but hiding it behind a really shitty narrative doesn't make me want to explore it

If you like to read, Bethesda games are for you. If you like enjoy picture books then have fun doing something else.

I just started an FFX replay so im sure I'll log some hours into that this holiday. It's been years

Bloodborne does it nicely where the loading screen after dying is an item description (where 99% of the story and lore is).

Yeah same, if I wanted to watch a movie I'll watch a movie. Not 3hrs of cutscenes. The Uncharted series doesn't let the game or gameplay tell you the story. I just want something more thoughtful from a game.
But everyone has their preference of how they want to consume media.
Edt: NVR played Bloodborne but sounds like a game I would enjoy. Just based on the way you describe it and from others experiences with the story delivery.

And if you're really looking to read, the collectables tell the story about the pirate colony, why it was founded, why it fell, etc. It's hardly a shallow game.
You just apparently don't like the genre, which is fine. But there's nothing less "thoughtful" about taking a cinematic, linear approach to storytelling. A lot of games would improve if they took a more linear approach (Mafia III).

It does a great job of telling a story but the story isn't thoughtful enough to make you feel something special for those characters. It's done well, it is extremely polished. The game is everything we have seen in previous games. Yes it is a great game but damn is it boring.
Like I said previously, maybe it's Nathan's white bread. But probably a combination of story delivery and near zero reliability to myself.
Edt:
Agree with this.
Listen I don't hate linear. I enjoy some recent linear stories like the Tomb Raider reboot(not Rise) and DOOM. HL2 and Portal 2 are my top 2 GOAT games. Doesn't get more linear than those titles. What all those games do different that Uncharted does not do for me is make me feel something for the characters in the story. A good story starts with emotional investment in the characters or people in that world.
