If not jimbo or herman will we really not explore?

Why not macintrye, whittingham, fleck? Bring in a bunch of these tier 2 guys and see who gives the best interview.

If not macintyre, whittingham, or fleck, bring in a bunch of tier 3 guys and see who gives the best interview. Brian Kelly, Kevin Sumlin, And Charlie Strong seem viable candidates.

We should take a chance with arranda at head coach if lsu can't get herman or jimbo. No reason to settle for some mid tier coach when you have possibly a future big time coach on the staff.

Agreed, but if you choose not to hire Aranda and we lose out on Jimbo and Herman, then why not throw out feelers to pipe-dream coaches?

I wouldn't mind risking fleck either if we couldn't get herman or fisher. Fedora would be the most disappointing hire.

I don't know enough about Fedora to know either way. I'm just hoping for the best with Jimbo or Herman.
Its just worrisome to hear that Fedora is the fallback plan and nobody else. Why does it seem we feel he's the best of what's left? Couldn't another coach come in and blow the doors off the interview?
I would take Petrino if Jimbo/Herman failed.
