You mean a Stanley Jacobs/F King Alexander/John Bell Edwards. Alleva did not want what happened in Nov happen for the upteenth time. His hand was forced.

Jindal was the governor who forced Alleva's hand. Remember, he thought we would be president now and didn't want the black eye of paying so much for a coach when LSU just got hit with cuts.
