Usual pot-luck affair for us, with everyone bringing a thing or two. Still undecided on this years.
Last was the traditional green-bean casserole fired onion thingy ... but using sightly boiled fresh hairnets and adding fresh mushroom/evo/garlic gravy in addition to usual stuff. Wanted fresh water chestnuts, but damn hard to find here in Al, so none of them this time.

Carrot souffle (more casserole like) kind of reminiscent of one with sweet potatoes. Basic eggs, sugar, sour cream, butter and cinnamon taste. More light a bit brighter tasting than sweet potato.
