We're going to win by multiples of our goals to only 0 or 1 (max) of their goals. And we'll run over the rest of CONCACAF in our remaining fixtures. And we'll all be left scratching our heads.

I'll be ecstatic if we actually get a result in a place where we've never done so.

I just feel like we've been here so many times with Klinsi. We're all done with him... US soccer fans all over are sending vitriolic tweets towards USSF in general. Rumors of dissension between players & staff. If the past is any type of indicator at all, we should end up playing fairly well.

Or maybe we won't. Maybe we'll get annihilated tonight. Would it make me a bad fan if I said I didn't care, either way?

For those seeking legal means of watching, I encourage you to try FuboTV. They have it and offer a 24 hr free trial.

Frick Fox and ESPN for not getting the rights to the away qualifying matches when they had the chance a few years back.

I mean fox and ESPN can purchase the English broadcasting rights from the host nation and don't do it.

NAh man, I've heard were going to start with only 10 men to make everyone work harder and possibly add in the other player if we have a lead.

Smart. Gives us 4 subs instead of 3.

Grant Wahl Retweeted U.S. Soccer
US Soccer says US in a 4-4-2. Besler at left back, Chandler at right back, Johnson at right midfield.

Still no Sacha-Stash

Why not go 4-3-3?

Do we really not have a legitimate left back? I know we joke about this on the board but this is getting a bit ridiculous

Greg Garza getting hurt really sucked.

Besler was run ragged as a CB last time we played here, they are going to kill him on that flank.

Cool. Let's not call up Lichaj or Villafana and instead play a centerback out of position.

Do you even Traffic Sports, bro?

quote:

Who owns the rights to World Cup Qualifying matches?
The worldwide television rights to each World Cup Qualifying match are initially the property of the hosting country. The host Federation, who often works with a third-party to commercialize these television rights, is the rights holder and can distribute the broadcast in various countries at its sole discretion. The Federation is under no obligation to sell the rights to a broadcaster in the United States. Since each country is responsible for the sale of the broadcast rights to its home matches, U.S. Soccer has no authority to compel the host Federation to sell the rights of a World Cup qualifier to any broadcaster in the United States.

Why does the host Federation initially own the rights?
It is industry standard for the ownership of the worldwide television rights for World Cup Qualifying matches to belong to the host Federation.

Why don't U.S. Soccer and its broadcast partners purchase the rights?
With every National Team match, U.S. Soccer wants the television broadcast to reach the widest audience possible and always pursues every option available to purchase the rights in conjunction with our broadcast partners. Ultimately, the rights holder makes the final decision on whether they will sell the rights to a broadcaster in the United States.

Will all away World Cup Qualifying matches for the U.S. be on beIN SPORT and NBC Universo?
Unfortunately, we are not able to answer that question at this time because the rights holder for each away Qualifying match will make a determination on whether they will sell the rights to a broadcaster in the United States. U.S. Soccer and its broadcast partners will pursue every available option to purchase the rights for upcoming away World Cup qualifiers.

How can I get beIN SPORT to watch the English language broadcast?
beIN SPORT is available on Direct TV (channel 620; en Español 420), Dish Network (channel 392; en Español 873), and a specific package on Xfinity TV by Comcast (channel 400; en Español 594; and in Spanish on the Xfinity TV MultiLatino Package and in English on the Xfinity TV Sports Entertainment Package).

How can I get NBC Universo to watch the Spanish language broadcast?
To find NBC Universo on your satellite, telco or cable TV channel lineup, go to Channel 410 on Direct TV; Channel 838 on DISH Network; Channel 3009 or 3010 on AT&T U-verse; and visit www.nbcuniverso.com/encuentra for the NBC Universo channel number on your local cable TV listings.

I’m not going to purchase beIN SPORT or NBC Universo. How do I get game-day updates?
Fans can also follow the match on Twitter @ussoccer.

Exact same roster but with dumber personnel management.

Either start Besler in central defense or call up Lichaj.

Actually a pretty weak XI from the Ticos... Backline is old as frick, we better take advantage.
