I have said before on here I'd do a solo one-way trip if I was 55 and single.

I nominate that moonbat yoga. Lord know we've got no use for her on Earth. At least we could get something useful out of her. I'm sure her dad would approve as well.

Oh it will be one-way.

Not one comment so far about the unsolvable: Radiation

One of the keys to Earth being unique is the Van Allen Radiation Belts. Without them there would be no life.

The radiation levels received just on the trip TO Mars is lethal. Here's a Smithsonian magazine article that touches on it. So far 14 months on the ISS is the max time anyone has spent and the ISS is heavily shielded since it was built over time, unlike a spacecraft which cannot carry the weight of shielding.
