Disclaimer: I would not call myself an "O supporter." I was in the camp that if we won out, i.e., a natty, then he should be given strong consideration. It's all about winning championships.
Now back to the OP, the game with Bama could have turned on a single play (or lousy officiating call). It was the kind of game that you have to 'manufacture' points.
So our OC should have tried to set-up some HR plays of whatever sort.

And when the offense is able to move the ball, O is somehow responsible?
