and taking the middle class/working class for granted? I see them spending all their political capital on wooing LBGTs, BLM, hispanics, Syrian refugees, people with no health insurance, and illegal aliens, and hoping that the middle class votes for them because they agree with them on the issues.
The middle class wants a jobs and a vibrant economy more than anything, and the Democrat message seems to be - you're going to have to sacrifice the economy, in order for us to move our agenda forward.
In other words, the middle class got ignored and taken for granted, right up until the point where they didn't vote the way they were supposed to. Now look what's happening.

ALL about long term game on getting votes for them. EVERYTHING else is tertiary.

True, but I think their coalition is unraveling. They have focused so much on the fringe groups, they they lost focus of the blue/white collar middle class. None of their major policy initiatives do anything for these people.
Now they are talking about these people and throwing a backhanded insult at them by calling them "uneducated whites", as if its understandable that these people made a mistake, because, you know, they are uneducated and just don't know any better. Wink, wink...

I just read an article somewhere that said Bill Clinton even warned them that they were ignoring a huge voter base in the non college educated lower middle class whites.

Their entire strategy is to create a divisive environment. Brainwash and lock up the "victim"'groups as voters for life. Originally it was Union, blacks, women and young people. Now they've expanded to Hispanics, gays, trans, etc. They will keep creating "victims" and spewing divisive misinformation, strictly for votes.
It's all the Dem party has now.

I think they assumed white guilt through MSM thought control would keep them competitive among whites, while creating a majority out of the minorities.
