What it may come down to is how is Ole Miss looking. With sanctions looming and already sucking wind he might look elsewhere. It that happens I think LSU is a prime spot since we have not taken many RB's last couple yrs.

Footballin' is the life for me.
Formation spreadin' out so far and wide

I was at the Neville game 2 weeks ago and sat in front of a family from Clinton Ms. They said they were friends and close to the family. They said don't read to much into him not going to Bama a few weeks ago because he has been there so many times. They also acted like OSU was not really mentioned all that often.
I told them to tell him he would look good in purple and gold. They did not know where LSU stood.

FWIW there was a Bucknuts podcast earlier this morning and Wiltfong said he still feels pretty good about LSU and Akers. Said he has said good things about FSU and OSU as well, but he still is comfortable in his LSU pick.
Akers visits OSU for the Michigan game next weekend so maybe they can get the last sales pitch in
