Maddow has the PP chief on lamenting the election and talking about how great young people are progressive.
So you want to play politics, eh. Here comes MAGA.
I do think handing out birth control and condoms are helpful. Screenings. But no more abortions on the menu.

Honestly it's not a big budget item and the abortions save us more money than tons of kids that have parents that can't afford to raise them. I'd look at every line item just like in a business. If the savings aren't there, then don't waste too much time on it. People waste a lot of time worrying about shite that doesn't matter in the scheme of things.

Eh. It's a big moral issue. I've always been highly critical of abortion. My sister and I both were adopted. We both could have, and were very possibly almost snuffed from this world by abortion. So it has always hit close to home for me.

That's the liberal mindset. Everyone is a number, a statistic, a trend. Look at these idiots on all of these talk shows. They're all trying to analyze why Trump won based on who voted for him and why they would vote for him. They missed big on certain groups of people. All of this analysis and somehow none of them stepped back and said, "maybe people just didn't like her enough to vote for her."

how's that work exactly. Seems like the dems should be against abortion. Wouldn't it just add to their voter base? it's counterproductive

Sorry I didn't explain that too well so the "holy shite" was appropriate. I don't feel like early term abortions are murder but that's purely how I feel. I completely understand otherwise. It's a moral issue that I just think isn't my decision to choose.
But if you don't consider it murder, then it honestly is a budget line item. I would at least keep the condoms and other services if we're chganging the abortions for moral reasons.

Completely understood. It's just one issue that never bothered me if it's done early enough. I'm for the death penalty as well so maybe I'm just for killing things (obviously joking). I just am not smart enough to decide when life starts but I really respect your view point on that. Makes me look at it in another way.

I run a small business and I'm always looking at the bottom line. Abortion is probably the worst things I could have called a line item as it is such a touchy subject and I can't disagree with anyone's opinion on it.
Sorry if I offended anyone on that as it really didn't come out gracefully.

I did not realize this until just looking it up...
Planned Parenthood gets over $500,000,000 a year federal dollars. Its total revenue is 1.3 billion.

It's the same thing as the death penalty. It's a moral issue. Some people see it as murder and some people think it's justice. I'm all for whatever is cheaper. I understand it's a big moral issue but I consider them dead to society when they commit a henious crime. With the abortion bit I just don't see it as a life early in the pregnancy. It's just how I see it. I'm glad decisions like that aren't in my hands.
However if the explanation doesn't work for you, then mark me down for killings criminals and babies.
