i still think this. I think many people voted for trump not b.c of what he offered, but b.c hillary was his opponent. And supreme court
Just as I think most hillary supporters voted for hillary, not b.c they were "with her" but instead b.c she was not trump.

Trumps popularity was a direct result of the rise of social justice activism. A few progressives living in bubbles thinking their view is dominant. Main Street USA said frick you.
You can achieve social change without being smug, preachy, talking down to people and pretending you're morally superior. These people really can't grasp the fact that just because someone disagrees with them, those people aren't racist or xenophobic.
