re: This election confirmed many thing for me

1. I am completely out of touch with america. Outside of my wife's family, i know one trump supporter IRL.

2. Hillary clinton is extremely unlikeable. While she got more votes than DJT, she under performed romney and lost key solid democratic states.

3. We have a culture where sexual assault, even in jest or light hearted manner, is acceptable to a large segment of the population.

4. The MSM sucks

5. My friends are easily upset and prone to going off on tirades

6. That the democratic party offers few things in terms of ideas that are appealing to americans, and that it needs to do some soul searching to see how to broaden its appeal.

Myself and my snowflake friends believe the false narratives presented by divisive politicians and the dishonest mainstream media leading me to draw false conclusions about the culture in America that I am completely out of touch with.

You are a pretty thoughtful guy. I typically enjoy your perspective, but how could write the OP and not see the obvious conflicts?
