No way Croom gets Croomed

Maybe as DC if that's what you're implying?

Coach Bill Oliver,( the best DC in the country at one time n my opinion), left Alabama after years of service and went to Auburn.

That would be funny, but no way in hell Croom would hire a flake like O.

I agree, Croom is way too smart to hire Fred Flintstone. Never happen.

what happened to Joe Kines? He seemed to do a good job with bama when he was there. I thought he was pretty cool.

He stayed! He is not on the football staff but Mal Moore hired him to work for the atheletic department. He is a class act and a great DC. He said he just wanted to stay around Alabama and be part of the program in any capacity so Mall allowed him to work with him. I think it was a retirement issue. He needed a certain amount of time to become vested in our state retirement system so Mal worked it out with him. I am glad he is still there.

I am glad to hear Joe Kines was treated well by Bama. He just seems like a real person and a very good DC!!! I love to hear his interviews.
