Four things stand out:

When I was a kid of about 10, my sister had her bf over and made sandwiches for the two of them. As her bf was eating his sandwich, he noticed a booger on the edge of the bread. My sister was horrified and blamed me to our parents. I didn't do it and wasn't even around them or the sandwiches but she claimed that I must have done it. I professed my innocence but was beaten by our father and forced to stay inside my room for two days plus formally apologize.

A girl cut through a parking lot and hit my car. Acted all nice and apologized then when cops showed up did a 180 and blamed me, claiming that I cut into her. I was faulted, had to pay to fix my car and hers. Saw her once more on campus afterwards and she laughed and said "sorry I had to screw you."

While clerking for DA, I would park in a free lot that had 4 hour limit. I would go to lunch then return so I was never there for four hours straight. One day I returned after lunch and just happened to park in the same exact spot from morning because it was the only one available. Ticket at end of day, with reported quotes of me being parked at specific time in morning and specific time in afternoon. Took a lunch receipt and a witness (fellow clerk) and had ticket thrown out.

Just a couple years ago I was stopped at long red light in Kennesaw, GA. Picked up my phone and read my messages. Soon as I did a siren blasted from over my left shoulder from blind spot. It was a biker cop. I told him that I wasn't texting and we were sitting at a red light. He was a total a-hole. Got records from phone company showing that no messages were sent around time of ticket and went to court. One room in this old courthouse with about 300 people sitting. They said show up at 9 am, so I did. Cop screeners refused to allow phones or computers inside. They began to call names in alphabetical order; my last name starts with R. I wait for a couple hours and they are on B. You just sit and stare at wall, no windows. They won't let you leave and return, if you go outside you aren't allowed back in. Restrooms are inside this court room. Finally I get up and ask a bailiff how long this takes. He tells me that they are usually there until 10 pm when they finish. I go to the cashier in the corner, pay the $200 ticket, and leave.

And you didn't kill her?
