She had every Golden Retriever problem known. Our vet bills were huge. She died of cancer at 11. It crushed us. We got another Golden. He is now 6 and is a specimen. Great breeding and genetics. Smart, lovable and healthy. There is no comparing the two. He was a $1200.00 dog we got from friends for $700.00.

Your acquisition costs for a dog is super low considering all you will spend on the dog during his or her life.
