Everyone on here saying NOT to draft Fournette is trying to look "NFL Football Smart" and put down on the LSU fans who want him.

It is idiotic.

If you get a chance at Fournette, you take him. He is going to crush it in the NFL and why would you not want a back who can get 2000 yards from scrimmage as Brees ages?

I know we have other needs. People are saying "Guard." Well, no kidding. But, when everyone here was screaming to draft La'el Collins last year, the same geniuses said that you don't draft a "Guard" in the first round. You can get him high.

I'd love to see the Saints get an All-Pro anything in the first round. We've drafted CBs, DTs, OTs, and all kinds of players in the first round. What did they amount to? Some were great. Most were busts.

We don't have a great RB. If he is there, you take him. Period.

I think he's going to be a great player as well, but who would you take if you had options of: Fournette, Jabril Peppers, Jonathan Allen, & Derek Barnett?

I'd take a DE personally, but I guess I wouldn't complain if Fournette was the pick.

Since 2006, these are the only RBs to break 2k.
2006: Jackson, Tomlinson, L. Johnson, Gore, Barber
2007: Westbrook
2008: None
2009: C. Johnson, Rice
2010: Foster
2011: Rice
2012: Peterson
2013: McCoy
2014: Murray, Bell
2015: None

People are also saying: DL, LB, and Corner.

An elite RB would help, but how much more efficient could we get? We're rarely turning the ball over as it is, our problem is we can't stop any bleeding. You could literally put any other top 5 RB in this offense and we still wouldn't run that well.

And LF would change that automatically??

If you told me Leonard Williams or Leonard Fournette
I'd have taken Leonard Williams every single time.
