Gameday has been announcing on Twitter and on FB that it will be held at the parade grounds and the Heisman house will be too along with the field.
I guess they will be sharing the parade grounds with the salutes. Would gameday have all these signs printed and word spread on twitter and FB about parade grounds without talking to LSU?

No. LSU put out the pic I posted above CLEARLY stating "Parade Ground".

Given that there's a military tribute and its a rather somber ceremony that starts at the same time as Gameday, I doubt it.

My guess is the producers just slapped that on the photo assuming its where it would be given that only once in the expanded setup has it been elsewhere.

Is gameday now a necessary evil? People love to trash it and their network (ESPN), but seem to embrace it when it's in town.
