If you re-watch last year's Alabama game (I don't know why you would), you'll notice that Alabama hardly stacked the line. They pretty much dominated our offensive line with just the defensive line and a couple of linebackers.
It was quite embarrassing for the offensive line.

Why did they feel safe crashing LBs so often? No short passing game, definitely no passing game in middle of field, and why fear TEs and RBs catching the ball in middle of field against us (under Miles)?
Hell, their safeties were doing outside run containment. No fear.
