Don't break the law and you will be treated fairly. Pretty simple concept

Mississippi, Louisiana. I'm 56. Worked in refineries and shipyards for 35+ years. I know what time it is

Except that's often not true. I think we live in a country where how fairly you are treated by the police and justice system in general is dependent on your wealth and often your race.

I think we live in a country where a certain group of people commit such a large amount of the crime that they are not given the benefit of the doubt by police during an encounter. That's a situation that they have caused, not the police. Look inside your own community and stop pointing fingers at everyone else.

Happy you're so easily amused. Now learn what "comply" is, and don't act like a hood rat and you'll be fine.

So law abiding black youth shouldn't be allowed to know their rights when dealing with the police because some other black youth are committing crimes? Ok.

Wealth is a better argument than race but that's not what he or BLM is preaching about.

I read about this yesterday in Shaun King's column

Nearly everything he posts gets up voted. Even the racist post. Nearly everything I post gets down voted. Says a lot about the mentality here. People are agreeing with me that black men are treated unfairly by the police, but disagree with me as to wether there's anything wrong with that.

Education is a great thing. Black youth should be learning math, English, history, etc and bettering themselves. You never know, even in this oppressive racist country, some black kid might could grow up to be president one day if he puts his mind to it.
It isn't odd to you that no other minority group has these problems with "oppression"?
