I wish people would stop saying "we need to play the perfect game and we might have a chance to win." This was only true for a Les Miles coached team because his play calling was too predictable and the Bama D could focus all their efforts on one man. Re-watch the game last year. The very first offensive play is an I formation. LSU has 6 guys on the line, the fullback burst up the middle and Fournette runs to sideline for the sweep. Bama's D has 7 guys on the line...#24, a DB(?) who should be on the far side hash moves to the middle and spys Fournette and tackles him for a meager 2 yard gain at the near sideline....he had to run across the field to make the tackle....LSU had one wideout on the nearside....a good fake to Fournette and a short throw to the far side with a speedy Chark would have taken advantage of #24's eagerness to stop Fournette....

LSU's offense was so easy to scheme last year....this year won't be so easy....running and passing lanes will be exploited...Etling and Fournette will light them up.....

seriously, take off the crimson glasses for a little bit...Bama is not invincible.....

I agree. It's all about execution.
