Self employed here. Over $1700 a month for a family of three. My wife is 56 and I'm 55 and my son is 23. $5000 deductible.

I'm not sure why anyone is complaining about high deductibles when most are paying 2-3 times their deductible in premiums every year. $5000 deductible was high when people were paying $200 premiums, but now that everyone is paying $1000/ month for a family of 4 $10,000 deductible is actually percentage wise low.

It's absurd, and the fact that Trump didn't hammer this home more shows how poor his advisers were or how poor he listens. I voted trump because I hate the lib direction but trump really campaigned about as poorly as possible the last 4 months.

Holy crap.

~35% increase on my end. The deductible is around $5,500. Just terrible.

And only 1 insurer is left on the marketplace in this state.

Do you recall what it was over the past few years? Just trying to get an idea of how much premiums are jumping. Has your deductible also gone higher and higher?
