They should take away his 2007 ring for missing 2 NC in the lasy 5 years.

No way. He contributed NOTHING to this years team...
Even for you, this is incredibly stupid.
Les would no doubt be offered a ring if we win the championship. Anyone that says otherwise is clueless.

Les Miles has a "ring at stake" on this 2016 season so he will get a ring and he is bound by the playoff winner being the national championship.
I will not get a ring if LSU wins this 2016 season so I am not obligated to be bound by the playoff winner being the national championship.
I can choose my own national champion because I don't have a "ring at stake" this year meaning I will not get a ring if any particular team wins the playoff.
I am not a part of the college football system because I don't get a ring if a particular team wins the playoff, therefore I am not bound by the who the playoff says is national champion.
If Les Miles is not coaching or administration next year and will not a ring if any particular team wins the playoff then Les Miles is free to not be bound by the playoff winner being champion. He can choose his own. But for 2016 Les Miles is obligated to have the playoff winner be the champion is his view.

That's a stupid comparison
Of course Miles does because he contributed to this season
2007 was not prepared by Saban and not even all the players were recruited by him or all of his coaches?
My goodness Miles hired every coach and recruited every player on this team, won and lost games this season.. he easily gets a ring lol it's not even a thought
They have players in the pros who leave teams midseason and still get rings. I'm not sure but even practice squad guys may even get rings for their contributions? And yet never once play in a game. Again I'm unsure there.

Did we send Saban a ring for 2007?
Did Saban coach a game for LSU in 2007?

FIFY because he got Fournette injured in camp.

I'd hope he would have enough pride to not accept a ring even in the event he was offered one. But who knows?

Miles was allowed to get the best coaches because we were paying more than most other teams. He has been the beneficiary of having really good recruiters. Lets not act like that was all Miles. Any coach could have had the same or better results with the circumstances that Miles has had. The fact is that his stubbornness is what contributed to us losing the two games we lost. He may very well get a ring, idk. But the fact remains that if we do win it will only be because he got sh*tcanned after the Auburn game. Maybe he can wear both on the sidelines while coaching a different team.

Really? Saban still gets credit for Miles 1st 3 years.

Yes he made them what they are right now

Miles was underrated as a program manager. He was very good at that. Players stayed out of trouble for the most part, recruited well, made good hires. Brought good PR to the university.
Also he was overrated as a gameday coach (and thats saying a lot). He was even worse than we realized. Being proven now with how the offense is breaking records.
but yea, he'd deserve a ring for the job he did putting all the pieces together. When LSU wins a championship, anybody and everybody associated with the program gets a ring.

They cant. They dont care that Miles was better than his predecessor at every stop. They dont care that miles had more success at osu( a worse situation) than saban had at msu.
Before miles got to OSU they had 1 winning season from 1986-2000 and Miles had 3 straight winning seasons.
They dont care that OSU went from having 80th-90th ranked recruiting classes to top 25 recruiting classes under Miles.
What i want to know is if any coach can win so easily at lsu, why didnt Saban have more success than Miles? Sure miles had more talent but saban coached in a shite sec compared to miles.
If anyone can win at lsu why did lsu have all of 21 top 15 finishes in the history of our program?
If its so easy to win at lsu why did saban lose to uab?
Saban walked into a program littered with future nfl players and some of the best players, at their positions, to ever wear P&G and yet lost less tha 3 games 1 time in 5 years.
Why did miles have winning records over programs that recruit just as well as lsu?
Why did miles beat more ranked teams than any program during his tenure?
During Miles' 11 years he either faced or was the national title game participant 9 times. Yeah any coach can do well in that situation.

You do realize that Miles was the coach for many of the most productive offenses in lsu history, right?

David Blatt just received a ring from the Cavaliers and Blatt was dismissed midway through the season
