I don't see how you can include Herman in that argument.

Never a HC at a P5 school, only been a HC (FBS or FCS) for 1.7 seasons.

I'm not saying Herman shouldn't be considered or CEO is the man for the job, I'm just saying you are arguing, it seems because you never say it, that there's a minimum resume/experience at 'elite' programs. Using that metric, you can't include Herman and exclude CEO.

Your entire post is basically saying you don't believe O us the man for the job WITHOUT telling us why. I've yet to see one person give me a solid reason, based on anything other than his record at Ole Miss, as to why he isn't the man for the job. IMO, he is writing his resume right now. It isn't complete, but so far so good.

Conversely, I've seen some kinks in the armor of Herman and Fisher, this season. It hasn't knocked with man out of the race. But it has kicked them down a notch. Enough to give O a solid chance.
