Those weren't bait questions, I was genuinely curious to hear opinions

But Vucevic is on a pretty team friendly deal, I don't think he's relegated to going to a team to start if he were to be traded. He could provide valuable depth to a lot of teams, and j think the market for him would be pretty competitive

I guess I could see a team like Utah having interest in someone like Vucevic, and generally GMs would view 2017 #20 > 2018 #15.

If you do get in a bidding war where you can only top 10 protect this year's pick, the question becomes can you get a guy with your 2017 pick that would be a starting caliber SF or C after 2 years? If the answer is yes then in 2019 you'll probably wish you'd have kept the pick. If the answer is no and you can trade it for a guy who would start for you at SF/C in 2019 and beyond, you should trade the pick.
