DJI is the way to go. Easy to use and fly. The DJI Phantom 3 standard is what i have and it does everything i want.
Phantom 3
you didnt give a price rang or what you intend to do with it, but for outdoor use this is the way to go.

Need a budget.
I am waiting for my DJI Mavic Pro to get here. First drone that fit my requirements of being completely transportable and has a great camera.
DJI really is the best noob friendly starting spot. Plenty of upper tier drones out there, but for starting out DJI makes the best stuff.
Best Buy did have the 3DR Solo for dirt cheap though. That is a fantastic drone for that price.

if you want a really good camera look at the phantom 4. Look for used ones. There should be plenty out there with light use and plenty of accessories.
People are dumping them to buy the just released Mavic Pro.

As stated DJI and Phantom 4 for camera.
Can also fly with IPhone.
May want to add the cost of an extra battery/batteries.

No, Android or iOS smartphone will work too.
There is the new GoPro Karma that everything is integrated. The controller has a touchscreen monitor. It's like $1099 for the top tier version with a GoPro 5 Black. There is one with the Session that is a few hundred cheaper. It also comes with a gimbal that you can use as a steady cam without the drone. May want to take a look at that. It's brand new, so you may have to wait to find it in stock somewhere.

I've got the Pantom 3 Professional. Extremely easy to use. The 4K camera is great.

My brother has an Autel Robotics Xstar Premium that he really likes. The phantom 4 is also known as really solid.

Traxxas Aton+ is in your price range.
2 axis gimbal with 3 flight modes (film, sport, expert), return to home, auto land, auto takeoff, etc.
Will need a go pro to film with though.
$379.95 anywhere.

I've been mulling over the Phantom 3 for a while now.
If I wanted to change the camera one day to a 4K, could I do it, or would I need to upgrade to the Phantom 3 4K version?
