When Shep got the ball in space, he was electric. His problem while he was here was that his hands were subpar to say the least, being that he wasn't a natural receiver.

Lovie Smith was going to cut him at Tampa until he sawing him covering a punt return. He saw the heart and desire and decided to use him as a gunner.
Other coaches coached up his catching and route running abilities at Tampa.
Tampa got him off waivers almost 38 months ago.
